BNN Bloomberg anchor Erlichman is stepping away from desk

Jon Erlichman

Longtime BNN Bloomberg anchor Jon Erlichman said Monday he will step away from the anchor desk to pursue new opportunities.

Erlichman’s final broadcast as anchor airs Monday, Sept. 30.

Beginning in 2025, Erlichman is set to make frequent appearances as a financial commentator on BNN Bloomberg, CTV News Channel, and iHeartRadio Canada news/talk stations.

“I started my career at BNN Bloomberg when this network went on the air in 1999, and I’ve since had the good fortune of spending the majority of the last 25 years with BNN, CTV News, and our Bloomberg partners. But I’ve decided it’s time for a change,” said Erlichman in a statement. “I want to thank all of my colleagues at BNN Bloomberg and CTV News for the teamwork, dedication, and professionalism they demonstrate every day.”

Erlichman’s career with BNN Bloomberg began with the channel’s launch in 1999, when it was known as ROBTV. He moved to the United States in 2005, where he covered high-profile business and breaking news stories as an anchor and reporter, first for Bloomberg Television and later for ABC News.

Since making his return to Bell Media in March 2016, he has played a key role hosting BNN Bloomberg’s daily financial news coverage and appeared as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for CTV National News.
