Bloomberg News Turkey bureau chief Omur Ant has been named managing editor for Middle East and North Africa.
Ant was the bureau chief since November 2018. Before that, he spent give years as an economy and government reporter for Bloomberg in Turkey.
He spent three years as a correspondent for Argus Media and two-and-a-half years as a correspondent for Energy Intelligence. Ant was also an Associated Press correspondent for a year.
He holds a master’s degree from Columbia University.
