She has been based in New York covering the United Nations and economics stories. She covered topics such as inflation, demand and labor.
Saraiva has been rotating before that on several beats, including corporate finance and supply chain. She interned at Foreign Policy and Voice of America.
Saraiva holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Northwestern University.
