Bloomberg’s Milligan moving to Brussels to cover EU politics

Bloomberg News reporter Ellen Milligan is moving to Brussels next month to cover EU politics.

She has been based in London covering UK politics. She was focusing on trade, energy, business and post-Brexit relations with the European Union.

Milligan was previously a legal reporter for Bloomberg News. Milligan has been with Bloomberg since October 2018, and previously covered transportation, retail and cannabis.

She interned at The Times of London and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Salford.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
