Duncan Mavin, an editor on Bloomberg’s weekend team, has been hired by FTI Consulting as a managing director, based in London.
He has been an editor on a new weekend digital team since 2024. Before that, he was a senior editor at The Washington Post based in London.
Before that, he was an editorial advisor to the CEO at Dow Jones before leaving the company in 2021 for Tortoise Media. He has also worked as a managing editor at Barron’s Group and as head of editorial projects at Barron’s Group.
He has also written columns about finance for Bloomberg.
Mavin also held various roles, including Asia life and style editor, Asia editor – Heard on the Street, Europe financial editor and deputy editor money and investing at The Wall Street Journal. He was also financial services reporter and Asia correspondent at the National Post.
Mavin is a graduate of Durham University.
