She is based in Washington D.C., and was hired full time by Bloomberg in 2022. Previously, she was an intern covering New York City, reporting on breaking pandemic news and editing TOPLive blogs, among other tasks.
She was also a digital producer at WBEZ-FM 91.5 in Chicago, Illinois. She was also a Dow Jones News Fund intern at the Baltimore Business Journal and has interned at STAT.
Diaz has a B.S. in marketing and business analytics from Indiana University and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
