Bloomberg’s Bergen to write more features, investigations

Bloomberg News reporter Mark Bergen will be writing more features and investigations on the tech beat.

He is based on London. He will continue to cover startups, but will also do some editing.

Bergen has been in London for more than a year. He previously spent more than six years in Bloomberg’s San Francisco bureau.

He previously reported for Recode and Ad Age. Bergen holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Wooster and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
