Keane hired as news director for Bloomberg Government

Angela Greiling Keane will join Bloomberg as a news director for Bloomberg Government.

She begins in July.

Currently, she is managing editor, States at Politico. Before that, she has held the posts of Politico Pro deputy technology editor, deputy editor – Politico States, deputy managing editor – States, and editorial director – States and Canada.

Before that, she was at Bloomberg, where she worked as a reporter and White House correspondent. She was also a Washington correspondent at Small Newspaper Group.

Keane is a former president of the National Press Club and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
