
Norah Mulinda has been named a markets correspondent for Bloomberg Television.
She has been on the U.S. equities team where she covered real estate, aerospace and defense, and other macro markets news as a New York-based reporter.
She spearheaded Bloomberg’s coverage of the July 2025 meme stock rally and wrote an exclusive profile of the hedge fund manager that sparked the retail trader frenzy — Bloomberg’s most read story of the day and week.
She also covered Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s potential return to public markets and its implications for shareholders.
Mulinda is a regular contributor to Bloomberg Television and Radio, and has made several appearances on CBS News. She’s served as a fill-in host on Bloomberg Intelligence Radio and Bloomberg Businessweek Daily and has contributed regularly to “Open Interest,” “Bloomberg Markets” and “The Close.”
Before her time at Bloomberg, Mulinda was an on-air health care reporter for CBS19 News in Charlottesville, Virginia, and worked on special programming for CNBC’s “The News with Shepard Smith.”
She is an alumna of the University of Virginia and first-generation Ugandan American.
