Recently, he was at CNN, where he served as an Asia-Pacific affairs writer and before that, as a digital journalist. He was also a journalist at The South China Morning Post and The Canberra Times in Australia. He has also interned at The Australian.
Westcott graduated from RMIT University with a degree in journalism.
