Bloomberg taps Smith to serve as credit reporter

Allison Smith

Allison Smith, a rotating reporter covering retail news at Bloomberg, has taken on the role of credit reporter. In her new role, she will cover banks, rating firms and other topics.

She joined in January 2022 as an intern covering agriculture news.

Since August 2017, Smith has been freelancing and previously interned at Crain’s Detroit Business.

Smith has a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and a master’s degree from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
