Bloomberg News has named Yash Roy as its Treasury Department reporter.
He will be covering Secretary Scott Bessent, his team, fiscal policy, treasuries, sanctions and the national debt.
Roy has been with Bloomberg since May 2025 in the rotation program. He previously worked at CNN and The Hill.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
