Pickert is a University of Virginia graduate in international relations and affairs and economics. While there, she worked on The Cavalier Daily as a reporter.
She previously interned for Bloomberg as a media, telecom and entertainment reporter, and she also interned for CNN International and The Tennessean in Nashville.
