Bloomberg News managing editor Mario Parker, Washington bureau chief Peggy Collins, national security editor Nick Wadhams and global head of TV newsdesks Clea Simos sent out the following on Friday:
Hi all,
We are excited to announce that Myles Miller will join the Washington bureau as a senior reporter covering the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation on the Economic Statecraft/National Security Team helmed by Nick Wadhams.
Myles transitions from Bloomberg Television as Americas Managing Editor, where he helped with planning, field productions and coordination between broadcast, radio, print and digital teams.
Since joining Bloomberg in 2024, Myles has worked closely with the National team and the Washington bureau on many of the most-impactful breaking news stories, displaying collegiality, hustle and competitiveness, in addition to a deep source network within federal law enforcement.
Myles jumped in on coverage of the second Trump assassination attempt, Trump’s plan to deploy the military to crackdown on illegal migration, plans for the US’s version of the “Iron Dome” as well as helming coverage of the New Orleans terrorist attack.
The BTV teams are thrilled that they’ll continue to benefit from his talents on the print side, and look forward to collaborating across platforms as Myles brings his drive and editorial excellence to this next chapter. He starts his new role on July 7th from New York with plans to move to Washington soon thereafter.
Please join us in congratulating and welcoming Myles.
Nick, Mario, Peggy and Clea
