Rebecca Jones has been appointed senior editor on the Bloomberg Asia-Pacific news desk, where she will focus on AI initiatives and live coverage strategy across the region.
Jones previously served as managing editor for Australia and New Zealand and, before that, Melbourne bureau chief.
During her nearly 20 years at Bloomberg, she has held a range of senior editorial roles spanning breaking news, markets and newsroom innovation across Asia-Pacific and the United States. She is also the creator and founding host of the Bloomberg Australia Podcast, which won Best Money & Business Podcast (Major) at the 2026 Australian Audio Awards.
Jones holds a PhD from Monash University.
