Kelly Gilblom has been named U.S. health team leader at Bloomberg News.
She manages a team of eight reporters, covering all aspects of the U.S. health care system, from major insurers to drugmakers to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Gilblom has been with Bloomberg for 11 years, and she was deputy U.S. health team leader for the past year. She also was an entertainment reporter in Los Angeles and an oil and gas reporter in New York.
She also worked for Reuters and the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Gilblom holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
