Bloomberg taps Edwards as new ME for weekends in Americas

John Edwards III

Alan Goldstein, global executive editor for weekends at Bloomberg News, sent out the following on Friday:

Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that John Edwards III will be the new managing editor for Weekends Americas, effective June 13. As TL for the US Consumer team, John brings our group a wide range of experience with company news. He’ll continue to be based in New York.

Shiyin Chen’s relocation from Los Angeles to London, where she’s taking over as managing editor for Weekends Europe, is now set for June 1.

Please join me in wishing both of them well in their new positions.
