Bloomberg News has named Anna Edgerton to be its Seattle bureau chief.
She has been national security reporter and covered tech policy. She previously was a deputy editor on the Congress team. She was also a Congress reporter at Bloomberg.
Edgerton has been at Bloomberg since January 2013. She previously worked at the Miami Herald, where she covered general assignment, working mostly on business, health, and religion stories.
She also worked in Brazil and Argentina as a reporter and translator.
Edgerton holds a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
