Bloomberg News has hired Lydia Beyoud to cover the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission on its financial policy team.
She previously had been at Bloomberg Law covering corporate governance and ESG for the past year.
Beyoud had worked for Reorg Research covering antitrust. She had also worked previously for Bloomberg BNA writing the Daily Tax Report and as the senior tech and telecom reporter.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and a master’s degree from American University.
