Joe Light, a reporter for Bloomberg News in Washington, has left the news organization for a new opportunity.
He covered corporate influence in Washington as well as cryptocurrency lobbying and regulation. Light previously wrote about taxes and for several years covered housing policy, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Before Bloomberg, Light worked at The Wall Street Journal covering mortgage finance, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He previously worked for Money magazine at the Florida Times-Union.
Light is a Yale University graduate.
