Bloomberg News has promoted Jan Dahinten as managing editor of breaking news in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
He previously was senior editor on Bloomberg Today, a premium service delivering global news on markets, companies, economies, politics and government.
Dahinten has been at Bloomberg for 15 years in various roles in Singapore and Switzerland. He previously spent a decade with Reuters and also worked at AFX News.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Geothe University in Frankfurt and a master’s degree from Keele University.
