Bloomberg plans to hire 1,000 across the company in 2023

Bloomberg LP approved the hiring of 1,000 people this year, according to a staff memo from Vlad Kliatchko, the company’s chief product officer, reports Lucia Moses of Business Insider.

Moses reports, “He said many of the hires would be in data, product, and engineering. Other hires are expected to take place across the company, including news arm Bloomberg News.

“The company employs 21,000 people overall, including 7,000 engineers.

“Mike Bloomberg’s software, data, and media company is known for hiring in downturns, an advantage of being a privately held company.”
