Bloomberg News has promoted Paula Seligson to senior reporter.
“I’m still focused on private credit and the leveraged finance markets,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “But now my mandate has broadened to tackle the biggest and most important stories in these spaces.”
Seligson has been covering the private credit market since March. She had been covering the mergers and acquisitions financing beat such as bridge loans at Bloomberg.
She previously worked at Debtwire, where she covered high-yield bonds, and at Reuters in its Washington bureau covering national affairs as an intern. She also interned last summer for the investigative unit of CBS News.
Seligson graduated from the business and economics journalism master’s program at New York University. Her undergraduate degree is from UNC-Chapel Hill in information sciences.
