Bloomberg News has named Siddharth Philip its chief aviation and transportation correspondent.
He is moving to New York. He previously has been a senior reporter and deputy team leader in London.
Before joining Bloomberg’s aviation team, he managed the CEO’s office at Royal Enfield/Eicher Motors, where ran strategic projects, conducted deep dive research, and handled internal and external communications for the CEO.
Prior to that, Philip was a reporter at Bloomberg News in Mumbai, covering autos, transportation, conglomerates, and telecoms in India and Southeast Asia.
He holds a master’s in journalism from Columbia University and a BA in economics from St. Xavier’s College.
