Bloomberg Media is starting a new service called Bloomberg Live Q&A, an audio-based platform that allows subscribers to ask questions about the biggest stories of the day to its journalists.
The new product is available on Bloomberg.com and the Bloomberg app.
Each session will include up to four journalists to discuss a headline from the week – from major economic stories to big tech news. During the Live Q&A, Bloomberg subscribers will have access to ask questions directly to the journalists and consumers visiting the website will be able to listen to the session.
“Bloomberg Media is leaning into our audience-first strategy by creating new features that truly serve our consumers,” says Marissa Zanetti-Crume, Bloomberg Media’s global head of product, in a statement. “Bloomberg Live Q&A is another way we can help our subscribers contextualize the news we are reporting and deepen our audience engagement while also attracting new subscribers to join the Bloomberg community.”
The Live Q&A sessions will be promoted across platforms, including newsletters, social channels, and on the website ahead of each session.
