Laura Mahoney, a senior staff correspondent at Bloomberg Law, has retired after 35 years at the company.
She has been covering tax policy in California and other western states. She has also covered labor, health care, campaign finance, privacy, and other policy areas in the California statehouse, government agencies, state and federal courts and the private sector.
Mahoney also worked for the company’s predecessor, Bureau of National Affairs in Washington and Los Angeles.
She is a graduate of Penn State University.
