
Bloomberg Law reporter Tonya Riley has left the news organization for an opportunity outside journalism.
She had been working on a cross-newsroom initiative focused on reporting privacy and cybersecurity regulatory news that impacts c-suite leaders.
Riley previously worked at CyberScoop and at The Washington Post covering technology and cybersecurity policy for the Technology 202 and Cybersecurity 202 newsletters as a researcher and reporter.
She was also a senior editorial fellow at Mother Jones and a future tense research associate at New America. Riley has also contributed to Inverse.com writing about tech and innovation and was an associate editor at Heleo Media.
She was also a news editor at Brown Daily Herald.
