Bloomberg announced an expansion of its artificial intelligence coverage

The content will explore key themes, including innovations and investments in artificial intelligence, the use of artificial intelligence in industries and society, understanding AI, and the impact and ethics surrounding artificial intelligence.

There is now a landing page on Bloomberg.com for artificial intelligence news and features. The news organization will also add regular editions of Bloomberg Technology’s daily newsletter focused solely on artificial intelligence, an upcoming Bloomberg Technology Summit in June will feature discussions on artificial intelligence breakthroughs, and Bloomberg Businessweek’s upcoming annual technology issue, publishing in June, will have artificial intelligence as a central theme.

“As we broaden our coverage of a new era of disruptive AI tools, we’re focused on the economic and financial impact of this groundbreaking technology on consumers, companies, markets, and governments around the world — and how it stands to change the balance of power in Silicon Valley and beyond,” said Brad Stone, Bloomberg’s senior executive editor for global technology, in a statement.

As part of the expansion, Bloomberg debuted “AI IRL,” a new Bloomberg Original series hosted by Bloomberg journalists Jackie Davalos and Nate Lanxon. The 12-episode streaming series premiered on April 19.
