Jesse Byrnes, is leaving The Hill and joining Bloomberg Industry Group to edit its Washington Edition newsletter as well as manage its broader portfolio of newsletters, reports Lachlan Cartwright of Breaker.
Byrnes serves as senior editor at The Hill, overseeing the company’s newsletter portfolio and helping manage its policy verticals while working closely with the breaking news team.
He joined the newspaper in 2014 and has worked in multiple roles on the editorial staff as both a reporter and editor covering all facets of politics and policy.
Hill has covered the big political stories in Washington for more than a decade and provides regular analysis on TV. He began his career in southern Colorado reporting on crime, local politics and rural issues.
