Bloomberg Industry hires Belloni to cover health care policy

Bloomberg Industry Group has hired Ganny Belloni as a reporter to cover health care policy in Washington.

He will start in October.

Belloni has been interning at Digital Insurance this summer as part of the Dow Jones News Fund program.

He was previously a reporting intern/photojournalist for Desert Companion Magazine, a local NPR-affiliated magazine in Las Vegas. He also covered science stories as a freelance journalist for The Daily Beast. Belloni recently graduated from University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
