Bloomberg Industry Group hires Gleason as an editor

Stephanie Gleason

Bloomberg Industry Group has hired Stephanie Gleason to be an editor for California litigation coverage.

She has been at The Deal as a bankruptcy reporter since May 2019.

She previously worked at TheStreet.com from May 2017 to February 2019 and for The Wall Street Journal covering the same topics since 2011.

Prior to that, Gleason was a business reporter for Capital News Service. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola Marymount and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
