Bloomberg News has hired Austin Weinstein to cover the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in its Washington bureau.
He comes to the role after year as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow, where he worked for Sen. Jon Ossoff on Senate Banking Committee issues.
He previously was the banking reporter for the Charlotte Observer and a reporter at Bloomberg News.
Weinstein holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
