Bloomberg News has hired Omar Tamo to be a breaking news editor in the Middle East.
He will be based in Abu Dhabi and mainly cover financial news in the Middle East. Tamo starts next month.
Tamo is a currently business writer at Forbes Middle East, covering the latest financial and economic news in the region. He previously reported on developments related to Lebanon’s economic and political systems.
He also worked for more than five years in the foreign exchange market in Lebanon.
Tamo is a graduate of the American University of Science and Technology.
