Bloomberg News has hired Politico Europe reporter Samuel Stolton to cover competition in Europe.
He will start May 2.
Stolton is a competition and tech reporter for POLITICO Europe, based in Brussels.
Prior to this, he was a freelance journalist writing at the intersection of EU politics and digital affairs. Stolton has previously been editor of EURACTIV’s Digital Hub, and his work has featured widely across international media including Der Tagesspiegel, Agencia Efe, and La Tribune.
He has also previously written for The Guardian, Al Jazeera and Tech.EU, was a columnist for the Japanese news agency NNA Europe, and had a weekly column on European politics for The Brussels Times.
