Bloomberg News has hired Business Insider senior tech editor Graham Starr to be its global business editor.
He will start in September.
At Business Insider, he worked with a team of tech reporters covering Amazon, Google, Facebook and other giants..
Starr previously had been a senior staff editor since at the New York Times where he worked on breaking news. Before that, he was an editor on the special sections desk where he built thematic feature packages across sections.
He also worked in magazines, editing special projects and features for New York Magazine, Wired, and The Atlantic. He focused on non-traditional storytelling, moonshots, digital features, and investigations.
Starr has written about technology and business for The New York Times, Wired, The Atlantic, Slate, New York, and the Christian Science Monitor’s Passcode.
