Bloomberg News has hired Nadja Popovich to be a senior editor on collaborative projects across data reporting and visualization.
She will start on Monday. Popovich has spent the last seven years at The New York Times as a reporter and graphics editor covering climate change, energy and the environment.
Before that, she was an interactive journalist at The Guardian U.S. where she was part of a small team dedicated to explanatory visual reporting and my work often focused on health and science.
Popovich has also taught and advised classes about visual journalism and design at the City University of New York and Columbia University. She holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree from New York University.
