O’Keeffe wrote about U.S.-China issues previously at The Wall Street Journal’s Washington D.C. bureau, where she previously covered the U.S. Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.
Before moving to D.C., O’Keeffe did a six-year stint in Hong Kong covering the global gambling industry with a focus on Macau and Las Vegas casinos. She first joined the company in 2008 in Singapore, where she edited markets news.
She graduated from Princeton University, where she studied at the School of Public and International Affairs.
