Taryana Odayar has been hired as a markets editor for Bloomberg News.
She is based in New York and will oversee coverage of the broader financial markets — including equities, ETFs, U.S. Treasuries, distressed debt, cryptocurrencies and municipal finance.
Odayar has been at Power Finance & Risk since July 2018, first as a reporter and then as editor for the past year. She previously interned at Sky News.
Odayar holds a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
