We’re excited to announce that J.J. McCorvey will be joining the Financial Regulation team in Washington as a reporter covering investor and consumer protection.
J.J. was most recently a business and economy reporter at NBC News, where he covered the explosion of Buy Now, Pay Later services and the rapid dismantling of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Before that, he covered personal finance at The Wall Street Journal, writing about inflation and contributing to the Young Money column.
A graduate of Tuskegee University, J.J. has also reported on business, technology, and marginalized communities for Fast Company, Inc., and Entrepreneur as part of multiple ASME-award winning teams. In 2019, he was named a Best in Business honoree by the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing (SABEW)
