Bloomberg News has hired Michelle Ma as a reporter covering clean technology.
She started Monday but will be based in Los Angeles starting in mid June.
Ma will be part of the power weather climate and natural disasters team. Previously she was freelance writing about climate and technology, and before that Ma was a climate tech reporter at Protocol.
She also was a news editor of live journalism and special coverage at the Wall Street Journal.
Ma has a master’s degree in business and economics journalism from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
