Bloomberg News has hired Heather Landy to be a senior editor leading work and management coverage.
She will start Sept. 3.
Landy had been executive editor at Quartz.
Landy joined Quartz in 2014 and was previously global news editor and managing editor. She joined Quartz in 2014 from American Banker Magazine, where she was editor in chief. She previously wrote for Bloomberg News, The Washington Post, and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Landy has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Her reporting in Texas earned her a Gerald Loeb award.
