Bloomberg News has hired Krishna Karra as a senior reporter.
He will work on the visuals team specializing in remote sensing and satellite imagery analysis.
Karra is a data scientist focused on earth observation, satellite imagery and remote sensing. He’s also an adjunct professor at The Cooper Union and teach a graduate level class called “Fundamentals of Remote Sensing and Earth Observation.”
His interests primarily lie in modeling, machine learning, software engineering and data visualization.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from The Cooper Union and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
