Bloomberg News has hired Sarah Hilton to be a breaking news editor in Japan.
She has been at Rest of World as Asia editor covering Southeast Asia, Japan and the Koreas based in Tokyo.
Before that, Hilton was an assistant editor on the award-winning Big Story desk at Nikkei Asia. Before that, she held the post of staff writer and translator.
She has also worked as a researcher and then as a staff writer and researcher at Nikkei. In addition, her work has appeared in Cell, Pediatrics and The Urban List.
Hilton is a graduate of University of Sydney.
