Bloomberg News has hired Ann Gehan to cover earnings of consumer and retail companies as well as breaking news.
She has been at The Information covering e-commerce and payments.
She previously was a junior retail reporter covering payments, retail technology, e-commerce and fintech for Business Insider. She joined in January as a finance reporting fellow.
Previously, she interned at the INDY Week, Concord Monitor and The Dallas Morning News, where she also worked as a freelance contributor.
Gehan has a B.A. from Duke University, where she worked at the student paper.
