Bloomberg News has hired Kara Carlson to cover electronic vehicles, including Tesla.
She will be based in Austin.
She has been with The Austin American-Statesman covering technology, software and startups since 2019.
Carlson interned on the Dallas Morning News business news desk. She is a two-time graduate of Arizona State’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
She has also interned at Reuters, Phoenix Business Journal, The Seattle Times, The Arizona Republic, The Orange County Register, and Foodbeast.com.
