Gabriella Borter
Bloomberg News has hired Gabriella Borter as a political breaking news editor in Washington.
Borter was at Reuters as a national affairs correspondent.
As a congressional correspondent, Borter covered breaking news on the daily ins and outs of Capitol Hill – the partisan fights, lawmakers’ success (and failure) in passing major policy changes – as well as looking at the effects of Congress’s action (and inaction) on American life.
Borter joined Reuters in New York in 2018 as a graduate trainee and moved to the U.S. National Affairs team the following year. She’s covered a wide range of stories over that time with a significant body of work around abortion.
Borter is a Yale University graduate.
