Bloomberg hires Barbaglia as M&A reporter in London

Pamela Barbaglia

Bloomberg News has hired Pamela Barbaglia to cover mergers and acquisitions in France and the Benelux region.

She is based in London.

Barbaglia previously was with Reuters Breakingviews as a columnist for the past year.

Previously, Barbaglia worked as a senior correspondent covering European mergers and acquisitions, chief correspondent for EMEA deals and M&A editor for EMEA since joining Reuters in 2014.

She served as a UK correspondent, technology correspondent, global head of TMT coverage and London bureau chief at Mergermarket. She also worked freelance.

Barbaglia has a B.A. from IULM University and a M.A. from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
