Galit Altstein will join Bloomberg’s Israel bureau as a reporter to cover the intersection of economics and government.
Recently, Altstein worked at Galey Zahal, where she served as editor in chief of Israel’s two popular radio stations; GLZ Radio, a talk radio station focused on news, current events, documentary and culture, and GLGLZ, a music station featuring music, live performances and traffic reports.
Previously, she worked at Galey Zahal from March 1999 to September 2017, during which time she held the posts of senior editor and anchor woman, head of news and presenter. She also worked as head of news at Israel-based financial newspaper Calcalist.
She interned at the BBC.
Altstein graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
