She has been covering agriculture and trade policy since April 2022 when she joined Bloomberg Government.
Sheehey had been at Politico as a digital producer and as an intern. She also interned at Bloomberg News covering economic policy.
Sheehey graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in business journalism. While there, she was enterprise director at The Daily Tar Heel student newspaper.
