
Bloomberg Government has hired Rachel Umansky-Castro as a reporter covering agriculture policy on Capitol Hill.
She has been interning at Punchbowl News.
Umansky-Castro previously was a metro/local news correspondent at the Boston Globe.
She graduated with a double major in journalism and criminal justice at Northeastern University, where she wrote for the student newspaper, The Huntington News and The Scope Boston.
Previously, she worked as an assistant investigator for Brooklyn Defender Services, a public defense office that represents low-income communities.
